Downton Abbey

I'm carving out a piece of my evening for that Sunday evening PBS show, Masterpiece Theater. You know exactly the one I mean. It has a huge following. Kind of soapy but sensational. Yes, you guessed it. Downton Abbey. What is it about this historical high-brow British soap opera that has us so entranced? Is it the plot? The characters? The dialogue? The over-the-top costumes? Or all the above? I'm like you. I'm in love with Downton Abbey.
